Wasana Nature Resort Kandana

It is a calm and quiet place with warm welcome for the guests. Staff is so friendly and dedicate to their responsibilities with smiley faces even at tiresome moments. Restaurants is well arranged and serene environment bringing sense of solace to busy mind. Actually the live music event is also adding color to the restaurant. According to my point of view it is a spring of income source and publicity regarding the venue must be increased in all social media like TikTok. Instergam face book etc... Facebook updates should be done weekly and if provide more opportunities for recruitment of more staff and giving responsibility to crew of staff by dividing different divisions will be attract guests more and more. Maintenance in surrounding also more improve. Actually it is a better place to spend relax time with family to away from hustle bustle life in town area.

We went to Wasana Nature Resort for a day-out and overall it was a good experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement. The day-out package price was reasonable and included a few sports activities and a lunch buffet. The place has plenty of parking and the garden is really nice. Even though it’s close to Kandana town and right next to the Colombo–Katunayake highway, the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. Since the package didn’t include a room, we booked a cabana at a discounted price. It was fair, but maintenance could be better. The upper floor wasn’t cleaned properly—it was dusty and had cigarette butts. The downstairs was clean but had a strong cigarette smell from previous guests, which only went away after running the AC for a while. They should really have a no-smoking rule inside the cabanas. The bathroom was clean but quite small. We used the pool, which is very small, though it looks like they’re building a new, bigger one. For activities, we played cricket and badminton, but some of the badminton rackets had broken guts and should be repaired or replaced, and it would also be nice if they added some new cricket bats. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout, which we really appreciated. The buffet and other food we ordered, though, weren’t very satisfying and could definitely be improved. Overall, it’s a nice place with beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, and a reasonable price. We would definitely visit again in the near future and hope that the areas I highlighted will be improved by then.
